Dear members, colleagues, and supporters of the Centre Happy new year. I hope you all had a relaxing break with family and friends. The new year brings the start of our major grant writing period and I wish all our researchers the best for their applications. The Centre finished off 2018 with much to celebrate. The long-term dedication of our Florey Adelaide Male Ageing Study volunteers, Daina, Peggy and John, was acknowledged by the University with them receiving the Volunteer Group of the Year award. The Centre reached an impact milestone, with its published research surpassing 10,000 citations, and Centre members were successful in research grant and fellowship applications. In particular, I congratulate Dr Phillip Tully who received three major awards for his important mental health research.
