What are thinking about TED...

We are talking about bringing TED to Aarhus University! More specifically, we want to bring a "TEDx", an independently organized conference, to AU.

With the caption "Ideas worth spreading," TED is a nonprofit conference where researchers from all over the world share their work and ideas through short talks. The talks can be on many topics. Try for example to check health psychologist Kelly McGonigal's talk on "How to make stress your friend" out here!

You can learn more about TED at the official website, or get a short introduction here.

Inspired? Interested in helping out? Feel free to send us an email to learn more about our plans.

Bowling - fully booked!

We are happy to announce that our bowling event on 20 March is fully booked. You are welcome to sign up for the waiting list, in case anyone cancels their registration.

About Us

The PhD House Activity group is a volunteer group of junior researchers who organise activities at the PhD House for all PhDs and postdocs (and occasionally their families) across all faculties of Aarhus University.
All events are in English and they are sponsored by the International Center at Aarhus University.

Located at the Dale T. Mortensen Building, the PhD House exists for you and your enjoyment. It is a perfect space for all of us to come together and build a strong PhD/postdoc community at Aarhus University.

You can learn more about the group at our website, where you can also sign up for this newsletter. If you have any inquiries, you can contact us at phdhouse.au@gmail.com.
