After that, we look to our friends as the next most important relationships that we cultivate and invest in. Our friends are people we can rely on. If that is not the case, then they are probably not really friends. I decided long ago that we do not need lots of friends. We just need a couple of people in our lives that we know will be there for us, and in mutual terms, that we will be there for. Friends are more than people who will help us through difficult times, they are absolutely the people with whom we laugh, we play games with and in whom we find common interests. There is reciprocity in true friendship. JUNIOR SCHOOL–––––– FROM THE DIRECTOR OF JUNIOR SCHOOL–––––– Book Week is an annual national celebration of literature for children and young adults. At this time of year, we are very much aware of the great blessing we have in the shape of Mrs Gibson, who not only introduces great children’s literature to every Junior School boy, but leverages her relationships in the publishing industry to get top quality visiting authors and illustrators for the College every year!
