Leadership Development OpportunityWorkplace experience and job-related skills (particularly when applying remotely) are more important than ever. City Year UK, our CSR partner charity, are currently offering places on their year-long Leadership Development placement in Coventry and London schools starting in September 2020. Alongside this, City Year UK will also be hosting online taster workshops on 11th June so you can develop your skills and see what the placement will be like. What do you want during Freshers?We want to know what's important to you. Whether you took no part in any Freshers/Welcome activity (in fact, especially if you took no part!) or you were at the heart of everything. The survey take around 5 minutes and is the best chance you have to influence the experience you receive in September. The Fine Art to WellbeingArty-Folks are running The Fine Art to Wellbeing, a free online art course aimed at anyone looking for alternative coping strategies to improve mental well-being. The first course starts next week on 15th June and is suitable for total beginners as well as experienced artists. This amazing online workshop will take you through a Sprint process to help identify green and sustainable problems you could solve and work in teams to generate ideas to solve them. Degree ShowThis year would have been the first time Coventry University’s Degree show would have been held in The Hub where CUSU’s offices are based, but due to recent events a physical degree show will no longer be taking place, but… the show must go on – line!
