Step Count Challenge - a healthier workplace

Paths for All has launched their spring Step Count Challenge – why not gather your colleagues and get involved? From 18 April, teams from workplaces across Scotland will be challenging themselves to walk more and feel a difference, every day. The challenge supports staff to find simple and sustainable ways of building a little more activity into their working day, such as walking to work, going for a lunchtime stroll, walking meetings (yes, that means you walk and talk!), and using the stairs rather than the lift.

Find out more on the OneDundee blog.

New issue of Contact - out Friday 1 April

This Friday, the latest issue of Contact will be out with a focus on promoting the sustainable use of global resources. Keep an eye out for your copy.

International College Dundee

Over the next few years, the University is planning to establish International College Dundee as part of our internationalisation and growth agenda. This will be located on the City Campus and will provide an alternative entry route into our degree courses for international students.

From September 2017, students will be able to attend a range of access courses, where their country’s education system does not give them a high enough qualification to enter our undergraduate courses, or where their English language qualifications are not high enough. This will be in addition to, and shall not compromise existing pre-sessional and in-sessional provision. Students will also be able to attend courses which provide an entry route into our masters courses.

We are in early discussions, and have not selected a provider, but will continue to develop our plans during 2016.

For further information about International College Dundee, please contact Project Manager, Doug Watters.
