I am confident that these young men will continue a fine tradition of leadership in service at our College. They have many strong and authentic leaders whom they can emulate in their work. I congratulate once again the Captains and Prefects of our College. They have been through a rigorous selection process and have the confidence of staff and their peers to do a sterling job in the coming 12 months. COLLEGE NOTICES–––––– YEAR 7 2020 PARENT INFORMATION NIGHT –––––– Parents of Year 6 students are warmly invited to the transition to High School Information Evening on Thursday 7 November at 6.00pm in the Robson Auditorium. JUNIOR SCHOOL–––––– FROM THE DIRECTOR OF JUNIOR SCHOOL–––––– I am very excited for this Saturday’s Year 5 2020 Orientation Day – for many reasons, including the overwhelming response from Junior students when I requested volunteers to lead campus tours. Young people are very straightforward, without hidden agendas, so when I ask for help and am inundated with offers, I am humbled and grateful. I know their offer comes from a place of goodness and generosity, perhaps even pride in a place they have become part of and want to give back to. This is exactly what we strive for and hope for: a young man who finds joy in serving others and the community. Truly, my heart is warmed in these moments. SENIOR SCHOOL CO-CURRICULAR CHOICES FORM - 2020–––––– The Co-curricular choices form for 2020 will be distributed to all students in Year 6 through to Year 11 very soon. It is imperative that parents and students carefully read the attached information prior to making their choices. Most would be aware that the 2020 Co-curricular year in the Senior School commenced at the start of Term 4 this year and will conclude at the end of Term 3, 2020. I would remind parents that once boys indicate they are going to participate in an activity they are making a binding commitment. CO-CURRICULAR–––––– SENIOR SCHOOL
