Calling contractors to join North Qld Flood RegisterThe North QLD Flood Register is a list of licensed contractors who are available to help with repairs to make homes secure, safe and habitable. Licenced contractors who are able to deliver services in flood impacted parts of north Queensland are invited to register on the QBCC website. Applications will then be assessed for possible inclusion in the register. Earth Hour – Switch Off 30 March @ 8:30pmCouncil will be switching off all non-essential lighting this Earth Hourh …. BUT did you know that Council has permanently changed its operations to ensure that all non-essential lighting is turned off every night? We want to hear what your business is doing this Earth Hour. Maybe your restaurant is having a candlelight dinner or you won’t be selling water in plastic bottles or using straws for the day. Share your actions with a post on our ECOevents Facebook page or register your event or business on the Earth Hour website.
