New resources online include:

  • SIAA held a roundtable with HACT on the challenges of demonstrating social value in the housing sector. An event report and evaluation will be available on our blog soon. 

Keep an eye out for upcoming events and networking opportunities, including SIAA's social value commissioning breakfast, to be held in London on 3rd July in partnership with UK thinktank the New Local Government Network.

We're also partnering with EBD Group on 'Partnering for Global Impact' in Lugano on 9-10 July. SIAA members are entitled to a small discount on attendance - contact us to obtain your discount code.

Finally, we'll be announcing autumn events in Paris, New York and Budapest, as well as SIAA's annual conference in Berlin, in next month's newsletter.

  May member profile: Tamzin Ractliffe, Nexii, South Africa
 

Tamzin Ractliffe is the founder CEO of Nexii, a social enterprise with a mission to support the flow of capital to impact. Nexii – derived from “nexus for impact investing” – aims to make impact investing a reality at scale.   

Nexii has established the world’s first publically regulated Impact Investment Exchange Board, the iX. In addition to the iX and in recognition of the different stages of high impact investment opportunities, Nexii has also established the Impact Capital Platforms (iC) including a regulated private placement capital marketplace with European Union approval.

Nexii is looking for individuals and companies to join their global network of Authorised Impact Representatives. Nexii is also hosting a series of webinars; sign up to Nexii’s mailing list to be kept informed. Lastly, if you’re a social enterprise, participate in Nexii’s corporate structure survey to help better cater for social enterprises in South Africa and beyond.
