Product Feature: VL-ILC - Intermittent Motion Inline Vertical Cartoner
The VL-ILC provides the ultimate flexibility when handling bulk product and erecting specially designed cartons. The system was able to erect a hexagonal carton with a special auto-bottom closure. The VL-ILC also had a unique glue configuration to provide adhesive on three different locations. The system seamlessly integrated a CAM Singulating unit to feed chocolate balls into the erected carton accurately. The VL-ILC features servo-driven automatic length adjustment for fast changeover.
New Product Development: TR-QCR - Transrector Series Robotic Case Erector
AFA Systems has improved its innovative TR-QCR robotic, all-servo change over case erector. The newly designed TR-QCR features a smaller footprint, faster changeover, and higher speeds. One key upgrade is that the flat stack magazine is parallel with the erector, which shortens the overall length dimension. Furthermore, the system can complete a full case changeover in less than a minute. The system also features a case shuttle system to reach 16 cases per minute. Allen Bradley controls are standard on the TR-QCR.
