UF Health Shands Children's Hospital patient named Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Florida Champion

Six-year-old Nathan Ferrell, a patient at UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital, will use the courage he displays daily and his natural charm to tackle a new role that could help other children across the state of Florida. Nathan has been named this year’s Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Florida Champion.

The UF Department of Pediatrics is very involved in the upcoming PAS Annual Meeting (May 3-6) in Vancouver, British Columbia.

3rd Annual Walk a Mile, Protect a Child 5K

The 3rd Annual Walk a Mile, Protect a Child 5K benefitting the UF Child Protection Team will be held on April 26 at the Haile Plantation Village Center. 

You can register at www.active.com, our website www.ufcpt.org  or on-site the day of the event beginning at 8 a.m.  The race starts at 9 a.m.
