The pitch report's in - and it looks like a belter!
The new playing field at Lavington Sports Ground is a sea of green as a luxuriant carpet of couch grass knits together. Soon the ground will be ready for Lavington Panthers to begin pre-season cricket training on a brand new pitch. In the stages ahead, we'll see major progress on site, including the construction of your new grandstand.

Wipes out
A build-up of wet wipes in our pipes means we have to clean out the sewer wells at our CBD depot next week, which could cause an unpleasant odour in the area while the work takes places

Put the brakes on speeding drivers in your street
We're looking to put a stop to dangerous driving in local streets and we're seeking your help to do it. As part of our road safety program, we've teamed up with Albury Police to identify speeding hotspots and crack down on dangerous drivers. We're asking the community to nominate the city's worst streets for speeding so that police can target those streets and put speeders on notice to Stop It Or Cop it! To nominate your street, simply click the link below.

Paws for thought
Our friendly rangers will be microchipping dogs and cats at the RSPCA's Million Paws Walk on Sunday 19 May - for just $20. This small investment gives us a much better chance of returning your furry friends if they go missing.
