COMMUNITY NEWSLETTER
THE NEWSLETTER HAS A NEW LOOK -- JUST LIKE THE PARK DISTRICT WEBSITE!!!
We are very excited to announce that the upgrade to the park district website is complete! We are happy to share our new modern, clean, and crisp look with the world. A major upgrade to enhance your experience using the website is that it has been designed to work on whatever screen you are viewing from - computer, phone, or tablet. No more scrolling all over trying to read something - it will now format itself to your screen. We've added Google Translator at the top right corner so you can now view the website in whatever language you prefer. New links to the calendar, programs, Civic Association, etc. will make it easier for
you to quickly find what you are looking for on the website. If you haven't visited the website to see the new look yet, go to www.grandwoodpark.net. We would love to hear your comments!
JOB OPPORTUNITY WITH THE GRANDWOOD PARK PARK DISTRICT
Little Learners Preschool
Thank you to everyone who ordered Butter Braids during our recent fundraiser. We raised nearly $1,500.00 to purchase some new iPads, updated toys and manipulatives. A special thank you to Sofia and Sydney Dawson and parents (Meghan and Chuck) – they sold 101 butter braids. We enjoyed a hay ride, a trip through the corn maze and a visit with the farm animals on our field trip to Kroll’s Farm in September. We were rockin’ away in music with Mr. LeClair and looking forward to his next visit, and enjoyed games, songs, crafts and goodies at our Halloween parties. Our 4 year olds are doing an amazing job learning the Sunform Alphabet System. In November and December we will be busy with seasonal crafts, a visit from a firefighter and so much more. We are hoping Santa will be coming to our holiday parties. It’s not too late to sign your child up for preschool. Our students have fun learning, playing, laughing, and making lifelong friends while getting ready for Kindergarten. We offer 2 programs. Our three year old class meets on Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00-11:30 and our 4 year old class meets on Monday,
Wednesday and Friday from 9-11:30. For more information on our program please visit the website at www.grandwoodpark.net, call us at 847-356-1296 or email us at preschool@grandwoodpark.net. We welcome students and families from Grandwood Park and all surrounding communities so please feel free to pass the word about our program.
