Five minutes for Co-ops National Research Project on Co-operatives and Mutuals
Dear Colleagues,
In celebration of the International Year of Co-operatives, the IYC Secretariat has commissioned national research into the role and contribution of Australian co-operative and mutual businesses.
As part of this research, an online survey has been designed to gather important sector data and to provide evidence of the vital role played by co-operative and mutual businesses and reasons why they should receive ongoing support from the Australian public and the Commonwealth and state governments.
The survey will take just five minutes to complete. It should be completed by a representative of any Australian co-operative or mutual organisation.
Your contribution to this national mapping project is important. We encourage you to take part in the research. It is important that the Australia-wide sector is able to measure and promote its contribution to the Australian economy. The findings from the research will be published in September 2012.
Thank you to the State Co-operative Federations for supporting this project. If you have already received a link to this survey under separate cover from your Federation, our apology for cross posting.
Thank you for assisting this vital research endeavour.
Yours co-operatively,
Greg Wall, Chair IYC 2012 Secretariat Ltd and Steering Committee
