Being Together: our Christian call to reconciliationThree beautiful interrelated dot paintings created by Kabi Kabi, Koa and Yuin women with artist Stevie O’Chin were commissioned by the Reconciliation Action Plan Committee of our Diocese. Each artwork represents a geographical faith Region of our Diocesan community – Northern, Western and Southern. Our Robina church community is hosting the Southern Region piece for the next few weeks, which includes National Reconciliation Week. You are welcome to take a postcard of the artwork from the welcome desk. The artworks tie in with the Reconciliation Action Plan as a focus and reminder of our call to Reconciliation. At key diocesan events the three paintings will be displayed together as a symbol of Being Together. Being Together is the theme for the diocese during 2020 – 2022. The symbols painted throughout the landscape connect with the Marks of Mission of the Anglican Communion: The mission of the Church is the mission of Christ
