We are excited to welcome Choros Wind Quintet to perform Ten Pieces for Wind Quintet by György Ligeti, and to share the stage with Vincent Ranallo and Noam Bierstone for the interpretation of the monumental "...pas à pas - nulle part" by György Kurtág for baritone, percussion and string trio. Students of CEGEP St-Laurent, Björn Nilsson and Kim Farris-Manning will join us under the direction of Natalie Cadotte for the interpretation of Jeney's "Something found", "Something round" and "Something Like" - these last two works for 25 stringed instruments being presented in their Canadian premiere. String quartets by Gyula Csapó and László Vidovszky will complete the programme. We look forward to seeing you! |
