Congratulations Michael Chrisoulakis

Former Metro Screen Network Co-ordinator Michael Chrisoulakis was short listed, along with his friend Edmund Jory, with their script 'Darker After Midnight' for the inaugral AWG Terror Australis Competition. Over 130 scripts were submitted.

Certificate IV Screen and Media Course

With an industry placement, client driven production and focus on practical industry relevant skills, this course enables you to join the over 80% of graduates who have started their own small business, found full time employment or sustainable freelance work in the film, TV and transmedia industries. Internships have been provided by Curious Films, Firelight, Movie Network, Azure Productions, Screen NSW, Network Seven and Network Nine's 'Underbelly- Razor' and 'Titan View'.

Due to popular demand, Metro Screen now offers extended hours for Hiring equipment, renting the studio and editing suites. Check out the full range here.

Equipment Hire: Monday to Friday 8.30am – 6.00pm everyday

Studio and Facilities: Monday to Saturday between 8.30am - 9.00pm by appointment

Breaks Application Update

Over 150 applications have been received digitally, saving countless trees and DVDs. This is the first time that Metro Screen has used a completely paperless submission process.

For the 2012 Mardi Gras Film Festival (MGFF), Queer Screen and Metro Screen have joined forces to provide a masterclass event for LGBTIQ screen practitioners. The masterclass will offer insights on project development, production, financing, marketing and publicity.

The Bunyip Movie is casting now! This crowd funded indie horror feature is shooting for 20 days/nights in March/April 2012. We're looking for talented, adventurous actors to play three principal roles in the film.
