Official Development Assistance (ODA) 2016 announced

UK Government statistics published in November show £13.4bn spent on ODA, reaching 0.7% of gross national income (GNI).  The figures show a marked decline in amounts spent by DFID and increase in amounts spent by other government departments.

Scotland’s International Development Alliance welcomes the Inquiry of the International Development Committee (IDC) into the definition and administration of ODA.

We will be providing a written submission in time for the 15 December 2017 deadline and strongly encourage our members to participate, either by providing their own submission directly, or contacting us to contribute to ours.
