BATC's 2016 Legislative Session recap is here. With legislative leaders agreeing to a short 10-week session and much of their energy focused on high profile issues like transportation, taxes, and bonding, there was less energy devoted to other legislative initiatives. BATC set out three objectives this session and successfully addressed each of them 

The Plumbing Board issued a ruling this month to confirm that polyethylene piping can be used to extend inside a structure to the water meter or pressure tank. Previously, there was concern that builders and plumbing contractors would be forced to place this piping underground and outside of homes.

Ready to Lead?

BATC is now accepting applications for 16 students to enroll and participate in the next BATC Leadership Institute series – starting this September. The Leadership Institute is aimed at up-and-coming next leaders within BATC member companies. Applications are being accepted through July 18.
