Program on offer to develop regional leaders

Leadership Management Australasia

Gladstone Regional Council launched a landmark local leadership development program this week that has placements available for local businesses.

"The Challenge of Leadership" program is a joint initiative of Council and Leadership Management Australasia (LMA) and is open to a total of 20 participants, including one fully funded placement for a non-Council employee living and working in the Gladstone Region and four Council placements.

Applications close on September 30 with the program commencing on October 10. For more information or to apply visit Council's website.

CouncillorConnect visits coming your way

The next round of regional CouncillorConnect visits will be held on Thursday, September 26 at the Seventeen Seventy SES Building, Nagoorin Progress Hall, Ambrose QCWA Hall and Council's Gladstone Administration Centre Boardroom.

Morning tea is open to all community members from 9.30am to 10.15am with 20-minute individual meetings with Councillors available from 10.15am to 11.55am. To book an appointment, phone Council's Communications and Marketing unit on 4970 0700 or email a request.
