Christ Church Healing Garden

It is now a few years since the Synod of SA celebrated its 40th birthday and at Christ Church Uniting we received a wattle tree as a tiny tube stock to mark the occasion. Our garden was destroyed by flood and it has taken us a number of years to restore it.

Roger and Yvonne Freeman (members of the Church of the Trinity) were honoured and acknowledged by the Adelaide Music Collective (AMC) SA Music Hall of Fame for their long and significant contribution in creating a wonderful live music venue here in Adelaide.

Music on Flinders

12th October, 12.30 pm - 1.00 pm 

Enjoy Fergus Maximus – that bloke with his headphones on long after the playlist has finished. He is completely oblivious because there is always music in his head! His pop songs encompass all things – love, loss, mistakes, surprises and people’s astonishing capacity to miscommunicate.

Prayer Points

This week we pray for:

  • All those who are responding to God's call by living out their Christian vocation in their lives
  • For Mental Health Month (1st – 31st October 2020), we pray for people whose lives are challenged by mental illness and brain disorders. We pray for the families of people living with serious mental health issues who often feel overwhelmed and isolated by many challenges.
