Service Action: The Inaugural Autohaus Tour

The inaugural Autohaus Hamilton Tour of the Snowy Mountains  heads off in search of great open roads this coming November, and we'd love for you all to come along!

The tour kicks off at the Autohaus garage on the 3rd of November. From there we'll be winding through the picturesque villages and stunning countryside of the Snowy Mountains and enjoying some very special cars and company before heading back into Sydney on the 5th of November.

When it comes time to transfer our feet from accelerators and clutches to comfortable couches, we’ll be heading for the warmth, comfort and wonderful food of Lake Crackenback Resort.

The tour will run in partnership with our mates at Driving Adventures and take in some of New South Wales' best drivers' roads over the weekend of the 3rd to the 5th of November, 2012.

Bookings close on the 1st of October, 2012, and the cost is $495 per person, twin share, including two nights accommodation, a cooked breakfast and detailed road book. Give either Grant or Rob a call or send us an email to let us know that you’re interested, or if you have any questions.

Spots are strictly limited and will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis. Be quick if you’d like to join us on this grand adventure!

The full details and schedule for our driving adventure can be found on our website by clicking this link.

Contact us by calling (02) 9905 1455 or sending us an email at service@autohaushamilton.com.au.

We’ll keep you up to date and in the loop on the website and in the newsletter, and see you at Autohaus Hamilton on the third of November!

Autohaus Sales Car of the Month

Coming (very) Soon: 2004 Porsche 996 Turbo

Built in September 2003, this 2004 year model 996 Turbo was delivered new by Chellingworth Porsche, Perth’s main Porsche dealer, in February 2004.

It is a car that is very well known to us as we sold it to the last owner in 2008 and have maintained it since.

This 996 Turbo has the ‘bullet proof’ Metzger engine, which was developed for Porsche’s Le Mans cars in the late ‘90s and has proven to be a favourite amongst the enthusiast fraternity. It puts out 420 horsepower, which is enough to propel it to 100 kilometres an hour in just 4.3 seconds and on to a top speed of 305 kilometres an hour.

To keep all that power in check, the car is fitted with permanent all-wheel drive and Porsche Stability Management, so as well as being one of the fastest cars on the planet it is also one of the safest.

The late year model (2004 onward) 996 Turbos were generally highly specced cars and this car is testament to that. It has factory navigation and phone module, short shift gear shifter, full leather interior, factory hard top and an extensive factory carbon pack fitted to the doors, dashboard etc…

To put this car a step above the rest we have just carried out a major service, which is due every 4 years, and fitted a new lip spoiler. It has also been given a thorough mechanical inspection as part of our standard sale preparation by factory trained technicians.

The car is in our sales room, fully prepared and ready for its new owner, and will be online this afternoon! Be quick, it is a stunning 996 Turbo in great condition and won’t be here long.

Find it, and our full range of Porsches, on our sales page here.

Come Along for a Burrows Drive Day

Burrows Drive Days are held every month or two at Eastern Creek, on a week day, and are about enjoying your marvellous machine in a safe, controlled and non-competitive environment, while improving your skills and understanding.

The next day will be held at Sydney Motor Sport Park (Eastern Creek) on the 29th of August, and we’ve had some interest in getting a group together to go along and spend a day playing Porsches.

Let us know if you’re interested, and if you’d like track support for the day. If the numbers are there to support it, we’ll be there to provide track support (and some excellent company).
