BATC event manager extraordinaire, Nicole Coon, just got back from accepting BATC's Meeting Professionals International (MPI) RISE Award for Organizational Achievement. BATC was specifically recognized for its use of meetings and events to support its five key goals. 

Beginning in August, the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) will begin the informal and formal rulemaking process for adoption of the Federal Renovation, Repair, and Painting/Pre-Renovation Education regulations (RRP/PRE). The rulemaking process will consider whether MDH should take over the administration and enforcement of the rule, and how it should be done. Here’s what you need to know >>

The July numbers are in! Twin Cities’ residential construction continued its somewhat lackluster performance during July. While single-family permits were up 3.6 percent when compared to July 2014, year to date remains down by a bit over one percent. Multi-family permits remained down, now at nearly 12 percent behind this time last year. Read more >>

The BATC Foundation has officially kicked off another great project. Thursday, the residents of the Bluebird House, along with family and staff plus representatives from Homeward Bound, the BATC Foundation, Vujovich Design Build and many of the companies participating in the project, gathered together for a groundbreaking ceremony. Build Partner, Vujovich Design Build, will be adding a bedroom, family room and additional  space to the house. Read more >>
