Birthmark Support Group's Annual General Meeting would usually take place at our annual Family Fun Day.  It's  not been possible to organise a Fun Day this year, so our AGM will be held via Zoom instead on Sunday 25 June 2023 at 8pm.

Both our Chairperson, Emma, and Treasurer, Wendy, wish to stand down from their roles at this year's AGM. This now leaves open an exciting opportunity for new people with a passion for the cause, commitment, drive and enthusiasm to come on board in one of these key roles. There is great scope for people with the vision to move the charity forward, onwards and upwards!  If you'd like more details now, please click here to get in touch.

These crucial roles need to be flled to ensure the future of the charity. Ultimately, if these roles cannot be filled it will no longer be possible to maintain the Birthmark Suppport Group as a charity. The charity has grown so much from its early days back at Great Ormond Street, and the information, advice and members' experiences all make such a difference to others. 

The closure of the charity would mean the loss of the helpline email and telephone number, the Facebook groups and social media pages, the website and social events.  However, there are many ways in which the charity could evolve and continue its ambitions and good work.
