Born and raised in India, Deepti Samant came to the United States to complete a master’s degree. Having close family members with disabilities, Samant witnessed first-hand the disparity in opportunities and the lack of inclusive social systems back home. She now manages BBI’s international efforts to advance the civic, social, and economic participation of people with disabilities.
