New year, fresh start!

Last year we were delighted to help 76 learners achieve a full level certificate or extended award in Maths or English. Congratulations! If you'd like to improve your skills in 2020 then come and join one of our friendly groups.  

English and Maths classes 
Open to anyone over 19 years old who does not have a GCSE Grade C or above. You can:
• improve your job prospects and gain a qualification
• progress onto further training or education
• gain the confidence to help your children with their school work

Before you can enrol you will need to take a pre-course assessment to make sure you are placed on the correct course to suit your needs and level. Contact us to arrange a suitable time. 01225 328822

Inspire Me: Rethink your future
The perfect course to set you on a new path in 2020, Inspire Me! will help you gain an insight in to your individual personality traits and then you'll receive expert advice on existing skills and next steps. Particularly helpful if you:
• Are considering returning to work and you want some career ideas
• Would like to explore your strengths and skills and learn how these link to different jobs, careers and training
• Want help to develop an action plan that will encourage you to reach your goal

Vocational Skills Training

If you like to use your hands to be creative, or would like to gain useful practical skills that could save you money and potentially kickstart a new career, these could be the courses for you.

Introduction to Plumbing
Learn to cut and solder copper pipe, asssemble traps and waste pipe fittings, bend pipes and complete a domestic plumbing project.

Woodwork for Beginners
Make four basic carpentry joints, use a range of hand tools, fit a hinge, cut mitres and build a simple carpentry project.

Introduction to Stone Masonry

Women in to digital jobs

Bath College is excited to offer fully funded entry-level taster session in robotic programming to women who are seeking new employment opportunities. This is open to women of all ages and a creche is available.

Our courses are subject to minimum numbers of students. Enrolment numbers are checked approximately one week before the course starts. If a course is not considered viable, it may be cancelled. In this case, participants will be offered a transfer to an alternative course or will be added to our waiting list and contacted when the course is available.
