Australian Digital Health Agency releases new National Digital Health StrategyFollowing a thorough consultation process, the newly developed National Digital Health Strategy was released in early August 2017. The underlying message is that digital information can transform the quality and sustainability of health and care in Australia. Barcoding and scanning technologies to improve medication safety in hospitalsStudies indicate that the use of scanning technologies in hospital medication management processes can reduce errors, potential harm to patients and costs to the health system.
