2. French cheese linked to E. coli outbreak; as cheese received by a number of countries

French authorities are investigating an E. coli outbreak linked to cheese after young children developed hemolytic uremic syndrome (HUS). Some Saint-Félicien and Saint Marcellin cheese has been recalled.

3. Chicken linked to Salmonella outbreak in Czech Republic

Salmonella in chicken has been linked to almost 70 illnesses in the Czech Republic. Health authorities in the city of Zlin reported the outbreak in the middle of March at Tomáše Bati Regional Hospital.
