As a weathercaster for Tucson Electric Power, Patrick Lacy keeps a close eye on changing weather patterns to help us predict how much power our customers will need daily, all year long. While forecasting renewable energy production can be tricky, there are two weather events that worry him the most.

Help Available for Renters Behind on their Utility Bills

If you are renting and have fallen behind on your utility bills because of the pandemic, federal funding is available to help you get caught up on your past due balances. The Arizona Department of Economic Security is now offering utility assistance to renters statewide. Renters can apply online for help with their electric, gas, water, sewer and trash removal bills.
