The same function will be available, however, through the Skype for Business Mobile Client Application. This change will only affect forwarding your Skype for Business phone to numbers external to UCF. NSC Promotions - Effective on August, 2018. Congratulations to the promoted professors! Bridget Rubenking, Associate Professor Important Events on Monday, April 23 The Nicholson School will host the Eat. Study. Love student recognition event from 9 a.m. to noon on Monday, April 23 in the Atrium. This event gives students an opportunity to receive a “good luck” snack/breakfast food from the faculty and staff of the Nicholson School. Please invite your students to attend. If you are interested in providing breakfast goodies click here. An all-school meeting will be held from 2 to 3:50 p.m. in CB1 Room 309. Dr. Littlefield, will share important information and updates for the Nicholson School of Communication and Media. Finally, because we are now one Nicholson School, we need to get to know each other better. A late afternoon party is scheduled for Monday, April 23, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. in the courtyard and atrium area of the Nicholson building. We plan a variety of complimentary beverages, hot food, and snacks. With a little luck, we’ll have some entertainment and plenty of time for conversation. In This Together - Planned Parenthood Benefit Dinner Dr. Lindsey and Dr. Sandoval are serving as the chairs of this year's Planned Parenthood of Southwest Central Florida Annual Dinner. The program includes featured guest, Tarana Burke, the founder of the "Me Too" movement. Tickets will be available until 11:59 p.m. on Monday, April 16. Debate Team Fundraiser - April 17 Make dinner a selfless act by joining a fundraiser to support UCF Debate Team. Go to the Chipotle at 11680 University Boulevard in Orlando between 5 and 9 p.m., Tuesday, April 17. Take in the flyer attached below, show it on your smartphone or tell the cashier you’re supporting the cause to make sure that 50 percent of the proceeds will be donated to UCF Debate Team. Health Communication Campaigns Poster Forum - April 19 See awesome student projects, learn about health topics on campus and have a snack at the Health Communication Campaigns Poster Forum from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. on Thursday, April 19 in the NSC lobby. COS Research Workshops - April 25 & 30 Two workshops have been schedule for COS Chairs and Directors that could not attend the visits to the Departments/Units to present the new COS research support structure. The workshops are scheduled: Travel Policy Recommendations Recommendations are now being accepted on travel processes. Feedback, suggestions and comments to make this a better process are welcome. LGBTQ+ Service Undergraduate Scholarship The LGBTQ+ Services Undergraduate Scholarship is provided to students who demonstrate leadership in areas of advocacy toward issues concerning LGBTQ+ people and social justice, as well as, involvement within the UCF campus and Orlando communities. The scholarship is a $250 financial award applied towards the student's tuition. To learn more, click the link below. Speak Your Truth: UCF is launching a new archival project, Speak Your Truth: A Queer History of UCF, which will explore the history of the queer experience in the institution. Submissions are open to all UCF faculty, staff, and students. The activity will take place from 12 - 1:15 p.m. in the Library room 223, Wednesday, April 18.
