Product Feature: CP-TLG - Top Load Case Erector and Packer
For this application, the CP-TLG case packed cartons at over 100 cpm. The system features two independent gantry robots to complete progressive loading. The CP-TLG features AFA's world-class all-servo change over technology to change over the machine in less than 5 minutes. The system also features a manual load pack station to handle multiple flavor pack patterns. Case erecting utilizes the robust gantry robot to erect cases efficiently. A Nordson ProBlue adhesive system provides case glue closure. The system comes standard with an Allen Bradley CompactLogix PLC and PanelView 1000 HMI screen.
New Product Update: PL-CGP - Cantilever Gantry Robot Palletizer
AFA Systems has designed a new palletizer designed to fit into production floors with limited ceiling height. The cantilever design of the gantry robot allows the palletizer to fit in 10' high ceiling heights. The system can pick two cases per cycle to allow for increased cases per minute speed. Utilizing an Allen Bradley control system, you can easily program new case sizes and pallet patterns right through the HMI. This feature eliminates the need for costly service calls. Optional slip sheet inserters and pallet dispensers are available on the PL-CGP. Furthermore, the system comes complete with updated safety standards for safe operation. The PL-CGP utilizes a robust frame for 24/7 operation.
