By Aliza Margolese and Miriam Condiotty, Production Co-Heads
The students of Derech Emunah have been hard at work preparing for their upcoming production, “The Real Deal, ” a musical performance depicting a young lawyer who finds herself discovering the beauty of what it means to live a life as a religious Jew.
With the help of volunteer Drama Instructor Mrs. Techiya Levine, Madricha Shira Devora Steinberg, and Executive Assistant Mrs. Devora Cohen, Derech Emunah students spend their evenings memorizing lines, practicing dances, and learning songs.
The girls are involved in many behind-the-scenes aspects of the play as well, including creating flyers, advertising, organizing props and costumes, selling tickets, and choreographing dances. The students are all doing a fantastic job!
The play will take place at Renton IKEA Performing Arts Center on March 27 at 7 pm, for women only. Doors open at 6:30 pm.
