The University internal blog has launched for staff and students. Featuring interviews with staff, students and departments as well as campus news and stories, the One Dundee blog is a must-read with your morning coffee! We'd like to suggest you start with our feature on School of Art & Design graduate, Ellis O'Connor.

CASTLE exam support

Easter isn’t all about chocolate eggs - it also means that exams are approaching fast! Don't panic - help is at hand thanks to CASTLE. Did you know that there's an exam revision toolkit available to all students online? Covering everything from organising your revision to exam strategy to staying positive, this resource is packed with useful advice and encouragement to maximise your exam success. Find it on My Dundee (Groups and Communities).

One-to-one appointments are also available and can be requested online.

International College Dundee

Over the next few years, the University is planning to establish International College Dundee as part of our internationalisation and growth agenda. This will be located on the City Campus, and will provide an alternative entry route into our degree courses for international students.

From September 2017, students will be able to attend a range of access courses, where their country’s education system does not give them a high enough qualification to enter our undergraduate courses, or where their English language qualifications are not high enough. This will be in addition to, and shall not compromise existing pre-sessional and in-sessional provision. Students will also be able to attend courses which provide an entry route into our masters courses.

We are in early discussions, and have not selected a provider, but will continue to develop our plans during 2016.

For further information about International College Dundee, please contact Project Manager, Doug Watters.

University TV screens - what do you want to see?

At the University we use a variety of ways to communicate to students, staff and visitors. The Internal Comms team is currently reviewing 'Digital Signage', more commonly known as the TV screens.

We want to know what YOU want to see on these screens - please vote for one or more options by clicking the links below.

Please email internal-comms@dundee.ac.uk if you have any other suggestions.

Graduating this summer? We’ll be in touch!

As part of the National Destination survey, also known as DLHE, we have a legal obligation to contact all of our graduates six months after graduation to find out what they've moved on to do (work, further study, looking for work, or other). We contact all of our graduates regardless of award, degree or country of origin.

The results of this survey feed into all main UK university rankings and into UNISTAS and the statistics published by HESA. Not only that, the anonymous results are one of our main sources of information for careers advice to students and graduates - the Careers Service is open to graduates for five years after the end of their studies, so we value your feedback.

Be ready for the email towards the end of the year, and please take part.

Give your lip print tomorrow at the Main Library

Forensic Odontology (School of Dentistry) student Zakiyyah Mathure is hoping to collect as many lip prints as possible -- could you help?

Lip prints are thought to be as unique as fingerprints. Zakiyyah's research could help prove their usefulness in criminal cases, or even in cases of fatality where other identification methods are unavailable.

She will be in the Main Library between 11am - 3pm tomorrow, Thursday 31 March -- please come along and support a fellow student by giving your lip print. It's painless, anonymous and only takes two minutes!

Student project - 4th year medical student

Michael McCann is a fourth year medical student undertaking a research project on the perceived availability of contraception and its effects on teenage pregnancy rates within the UK. If you are in your 2nd year or above, please help Michael by completing his survey.
