1. Further onions recalled in effort to control outbreak

HelloFresh is recalling onions due to the potential presence of Salmonella. This outbreak has seen 869 people infected across 47 states. Hundreds of people have also been infected in Canada.

3. Outbreak investigation finds different strains of Salmonella in chicken nuggets

While testing chicken nuggets as part of an outbreak investigation of Salmonella Enteritidis, a different strain of Salmonella was found; Salmonella Infantis.

4. Peaches recalled as implicated in Salmonella outbreak

The CDC and FDA are investigating a multi-state outbreak of Salmonella Enteritidis infections linked to consumption of peaches, with 68 reported cases in 9 states.
