A month of celebration! No images? Click here Hi there, I hope you're managing to enjoy this odd summer of distance and caution, and that you’re keeping safe wherever you are in the world. If you follow me on social media, you know that I’m spending lots of time on the boat I inherited from my late dad, along with his dog, Sam Sullivan, who has become my soul mate since we lost Dad. We are constant companions, and neither of us would have it any other way. (I included a new post about Sam below.) This week, I hit a career milestone that could’ve only happened because of YOU, my dedicated readers. Lisa, the keeper of all the numbers, tells me as of sometime in June, we're officially at 10 million books sold. Even though I knew we were getting close, it's still overwhelming to hit a milestone that once seemed so far out of reach as to be laughable when the rejections and setbacks went on for YEARS. And then 2010 happened, and indie publishing came along, and the Gansett Island Series debuted in 2011 and changed everything. So many people have helped and supported me on this journey. Those closest to me know who they are and how much I appreciate them, especially Dan, Emily, Jake, Julie, Lisa, Tia, Holly, Isabel, Nikki, Cheryl, Ashley, Kristina and so many others who have worked behind the scenes to make it all happen as well as my late Dad, who was always so excited when things went my way. He was my greatest cheerleader and the best chairman of the board. And my late Mom, who made me a voracious reader long before I was an author. I give her most of the credit for my career. To all the readers who've bought 10M of my books... I'll never have the words to properly thank you for giving me a dream career and life. I'm so, so thankful to you all, and I'm grateful to get to spend my days writing about the best part of life. People love to disdain romance novels, but we know the truth. Love is all there is. Here's to the next 10M! Let's go! To further the celebration… More New Books! I’m counting down the August 11 release of How Much I Feel, which will be my 80th published book and the first book in my exciting new Miami Nights Series! To celebrate that milestone, I’m giving away signed copies of all 80 books to one lucky reader along with ten runners up who can choose their favorite among the 80. To enter the giveaway, preorder How Much I Feel and How Much I Care, which is out Aug. 18, and enter to win at marieforce.com/80books. No purchase required to enter this giveaway, but I do hope you’ll preorder my new books coming exclusively to Kindle and Kindle Unlimited Aug. 11 and 18. If you don’t read on Kindle, you have several options to access these books: 1. Download a FREE Kindle app to any device that accepts apps, buy the books at Amazon and then read them on your new app. The first book is published by Amazon, which is why the series is exclusive to that one retailer. 2. Purchase a copy in print (signed from my store at shop.marieforce.com) or from Amazon, B&N and other retailers. See the full list of available options at marieforce.com/howmuchifeel and marieforce.com/howmuchicare. 3. Purchase audiobook copies of both books. Links coming closer to release day. If you have any questions about any of these options, please reply to this email. I’m happy to assist you! Fatal Fraud Is Coming October 20! Big things are happening for Sam and Nick in this one, and I can’t wait to get it out to readers on October 20! Preorder your copy now at marieforce.com/fatalfraud. It will be available in ebook on all retailers, print and audio, with Eva Kaminsky back as the voice of the Fatal Series for this latest installment. I’ve been writing like a BOSS this year, with one goal in mind (in addition to getting more books to readers as fast as I can) and that goal was AUGUST OFF from writing. Yeah, I know, no one believes I’ll actually take a full month off, but I’m going to try. (Sam Sullivan gives it a week, and he’s taking bets if you want to get in on the action! LOL) In addition to shutting down the laptop, we’ll be pressing pause on the store, too, other than the preorder copies of How Much I Feel and How Much I Care, which will ship in August. Other orders made in August will be shipped the first week in September. So if you are interested in anything from the store, please get your orders in by July 31 to ensure immediate delivery. And Now, an Actual Conversation with Sam Sullivan: Him: I can’t believe you told people I fell out of the boat. That’s so embarrassing. Me: I’m sorry. Him: You are NOT! Me: I’m sorry you fell out of the boat. Him: I’m going to forgive you because we’re BFFs, but if we weren’t, we’d be in the biggest fight ever. Me: I love you, even when you’re clumsy. Him: I love you, too. Most of the time. Photo taken this past Tuesday on another solo mission with my buddy. So far so good. And the tongue game is spot on. Thank you again for all of your support of me and my books. I hope you have a wonderful weekend! Much love, Marie Follow me on BookBub and Book + Main. |
