Anzac road closures
A section of Tank Street, Gladstone will close on April 23 for a troop re-enactment and several roads will close for services on April 25.
Children aged 10 years and under can win eco-friendly prizes by entering the 'Don't Dump in My Backyard' colouring competition.
New dog laws
Council has introduced a new local law to increase Local Law officers' authority to enforce dog owners to register their pets.
Finances on target
Council remains on track with its Long Term Financial Plan forecasts after the document was revised and adopted at a recent general meeting.
'Grown in Gladstone' is the theme for Ecofest, Council's annual environmental event, on May 31 at Tondoon Botanic Gardens.
Anzac Day exhibition
Visit the Gallery & Museum to view the commemorative 'ANZAC Day: Lest We Forget. Centenary of the First World War' display.
Marina bridge lift
The Matthew Flinders (Marina) Bridge will be lifted on April 28 at 3pm for marine vessel operators to move vessels in Auckland Creek.
Fires spark concern
Residents are reminded not to build fires on local beaches in a bid to protect lives and prevent damage to coastal environments.
