1. Salmonella outbreak linked to peaches has now spread to Canada

It has been reported in Canada, that there are dozens of patients in a Salmonella outbreak linked to fresh peaches; In the US, 68 people across 9 states sickened and recalls now underway in both countries.

5. Brazil nuts contaminated with Salmonella sent to numerous countries, including to U.S.

Over 30 countries are listed as having received Brazil nuts contaminated with Salmonella from Bolivia. The Salmonella Anatum alert was raised by the United Kingdom in August, according to a notification on the Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF).
