In order to help candidates prepare for the 2018 ECPS and MJCSM exams, the European Society for Sexual Medicine (ESSM) has arranged a condensed 2 1/2 day pre-course.

The course offers a focused overview of sexual medicine aimed directly at increasing the chance of success in passing either of the two exams. Lectures will be delivered by renowned experts, and the course is highly recommended for anyone who aims for ECPS or MJCSM certification.

The course will take place in Lisbon close to the World Meeting on Sexual Medicine and exam venue. It will run on February 25 (half day), February 26 (full day) and February 27 (full day).

A new study of 71 Australian men and 43 partners finds that patients are generally satisfied with penile implants received after radical prostatectomy. 

Ninety-four percent of the patients said they were satisfied, and 77% said they had good sexual function. 

Partners reported lower sexual relationship satisfaction than the patients but had similar results for treatment satisfaction.

The study was published last fall in the Journal of Sexual Medicine.  More information, including the effects of depression on satisfaction rates, is available here.
