iF you had an extra day, what would you do?

Nearly every day we hear someone protest their lack of time, so for the first iF series event of 2012, we are exploring the question: iF you had an extra day, how would you use it?

Imagine the possibilities of what you might do, or achieve. Would you use it to explore – physically or intellectuality – something they have always wanted to do? Or would you live that extra day like it was your last day – reaching out to make your world a better place?

We hope you will all join us for what will be another inspiring afternoon of conversations and creativity as a number of prominent people from the Calgary business community explore this question on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Calgary Chamber.

Summit on the Mature Workforce

Skilled workers are becoming increasingly difficult to find. Some business sectors in Calgary are already experiencing a shortage of workers with the right skills, others soon will.  Ease this shortage by keeping mature workers in your organization and initiating mechanisms to transfer their knowledge to new generation employees.

The Summit On The Mature Workforce will be held at the Calgary Chamber from February 6 to 8. The event will offer techniques and best practices to develop an older workforce strategy.
