Credit assessment reminder
January 2018
Assessment for credit needs to be made prior to the student's arrival. If you have a client who would like to apply for credit, please ensure they submit their required documents as soon as possible. The deadline for semester 1, 2018 is the end of January.
Students wishing to be assessed for credit after they have arrived will need to wait until after the 3rd week of semester and then submit their request via their relevant Faculty Officer.

Preparing your clients for arrival
Documents to bring:
For conditional offers – ensure they pack and bring their original or certified documents
Copy of their offer of enrolment
Current passport
Any other official identification eg. drivers licence, ID cards etc...
Medical records
Clothes to pack:
For everyday wear, students favour comfortable, casual clothes.
Remember to bring warm clothes for winter.
Students can also bring their national dress, which they may like to wear at social events
Spare eyeglasses or contact lenses may be handy.
What not to bring:
Australia's quaratine and customs laws are very strict and many food products, plants, animal products and some medicines may not be imported into Australia.
Some other types of products must be declared but may be permitted into the country.
