Our 2019 business agility reflections and insights No images? Click here It's hard to believe that 2019 is coming to an end. Now is the time of year that many of us reflect on what we've learned and are proud of, how we overcame bumps in the road and - most importantly - the relationships we created or nurtured. Our 2019 reflections: Thankful for... YOU - our customers, partners, and community. Thank you for believing in our vision and supporting the impact we're trying to make on the world! We're grateful our first EBA Summit was a great success! We like the smaller size and intimate setting, and we'll do it again next year in Atlanta. Thank you to the 140+ attendees and all the speakers who shared their business agility transformation stories! Here are the two highest-rated sessions - watch Dan Craig (Fannie Mae) and Sheri Reed (Anthem) share their experiences. Proud of... We feel like we've really started to see traction and maturity around measurement and continuous improvement. We're proud to be spearheading this movement and helping customers make sense of what to measure and how to accelerate their transformation journey. We also feel that Enterprise Business Agility (EBA) is gaining momentum and many of our enterprise customers realize there's more work to be done in order to enable organizational and operational-level agility. Speaking of agility, we've heard from many customers and partners that our short Org Agility explainer video is a hit! Our favorite feedback was when a Senior Vice President texted a fellow software leadership team member during the video and asked "Did we create this? This is EXACTLY our situation." 😊 Learned... We should meet customers where they are in the journey and help them understand the scope of Enterprise Business Agility while identifying where they could focus next. There is no cookie-cutter checklist to follow. Sorry! Our strategy and jumpstarts approach works. For example, starting with a Measurement and Continuous Improvement Strategy workshop, during which we design what we want to measure at each level, followed by a 12-week implementation jumpstart allows us to plan, execute, and measure real results. We learned we can do a baseline TeamHealth® Radar assessment for 100 teams in two weeks and for 2,000 teams in six to eight weeks! That was an awesome experience! Looking forward to... Measurement & Continuous Improvement Strategy Workshop - We're doubling down on offering all our customers this one-day workshop (referenced above) and then executing quickly. Business Outcomes - We'll be on a mission of making outcomes-based planning and alignment a reality for our customers next year. We're pretty proud of our new Outcomes and OKR dashboard, which helps scale this practice. Talent Development - We're focusing on two parts to this: 1) Stabilize Agile teams by developing the five key roles. 2) Build up EBA Change Agents to help scale and enable the Enterprise Business Agility transformation.
