Alberta’s new energy regulator: The inside scoop on what it means for project development

Alberta’s new energy regulator: The inside scoop on what it means for project development

Alberta is moving to regulate its energy resources in a more efficient way by creating a single regulator for all oil, gas, oil sand and coal projects in the province.

This new regulator will merge the energy development regulatory functions currently run by three departments – the Energy Resources Conservation Board, Alberta Environment and Sustainable Resource Development – into a single point that companies can now turn to for applications on projects in the energy sector. This will save companies both time and money without reducing the impact on the environment.

Learn how this new regulator will affect companies in Alberta.
