Deadline for your declarations - 31/12/2019
You've got until 31 December 2019 the time to declare the following performances:
- Your audiovisual performances for the recordings broadcast/exploited in 2013;
- Your musical performances for the recordings broadcast/exploited in 2016.
Once this deadline has passed, PlayRight closes the rights for these reference years. Your performances will continue to generate rights for the years that are still open, but not for the closed years in case you did not respect the deadline of declaration.

During the General Assembly this past 17th of June, our member-artists elected Paul Poelmans, Johan Van Assche, Julie Basecqz and Christian Martin as the new administrators of PlayRight. While two of them have been re-elected, the other two are joining the Board of Directors for the first time. But what exactly is the role of a PlayRight administrator? How does PlayRight calculate your rights as a musician?
To be able to calculate your music rights on Belgian territory, it's essential that you declare your repertoire. Once you have declared your music repertoire, PlayRight links these data to playlists. But how does PlayRight determine the value of the rights that you are entitled to?

An audiovisual repertoire may consist of a collection of different contributions (audiovisual performances, dubbing & post-synchronisation and music in audiovisual). How does PlayRight determine the value of your audiovisual rights, once you have declared your performances?

Mélanie Isaac and Arty Leiso winners of the Franc'Off
The Ardennes singer Mélanie Isaac and the young performer Arty Leiso are the winners of the Franc'off 2019, the contest of the festival Francofolies de Spa, which aims at revealing Belgian talents, supported by PlayRight. The two winners look back on their experience of the festival and tell us more about their career and future projects.

It is a question we receive regularly with PlayRight and the answer is: Yes, it is possible.
