Wanderers v Old Wesley

 

It wasn’t particularly pretty but the Over 35s team beat Wanderers 17-7 to reach the semi final of the Fox Cup. The Old Wesley team featured former legends like Colin Younger, Henry Hurley, Andrew Johnston and Dave Jermyn. And the Presidential team was represented by Jimmy Byrden.

Wanderers took the early lead before Old Wesley responded with tries by Colin Younger, Piers White and Chris Pratt.

The semi final is against Clondalkin,

on Wednesday 18th April, k.o. 6.30pm.

County Carlow Rugby Club are looking to break a Guinness World Record for the Largest Tag Rugby Tournament. The tournament will also raise funds for the Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to children and the IRFU Charitable Trust. The event takes place on 15th /16th June 2012 and will include music, family entertainment, and much more.
