Dear Parent: Earlier today, President Englert and Provost Epps announced the spring 2021 course delivery and testing plan. I would like to reiterate we remain committed to providing our students with a safe and high-quality educational experience. I would like to provide another update regarding the spring 2021 semester. Priority registration will begin on Monday, Nov. 16, and continue until the end of the semester. The Fox School has identified some selected core courses that will be offered either 100% in person, or partially in-person and partially online. For the courses that are offered partially in person, the meeting dates for those courses will be provided during the priority registration process. We are working with our faculty to solidify those dates. The remaining courses will be offered virtually for the spring semester to accommodate students who no longer reside on or near campus, or who want to be 100% virtual. The first day of instruction for the spring semester will be Tuesday, Jan. 19. Very soon, our academic advisors and program administrators will send the list of classes that are fully or partially in person so that you and your student can decide how to schedule for the spring semester. Please also encourage your student to schedule an appointment with his or her academic advisor. While we remain in a fluid situation, know that we are committed to remaining optimistic and making the spring semester a great one for your student. Thank you for your support. Warm Regards, Ronald Anderson, PhD |
