Pyjama Party is back and it's going to be bigger than ever!

Now in its third year, The National Brain Appeal Pyjama Party 2014 is shaping up to be our best yet.

What’s it all about?

We started the Pyjama Party back in 2012 as a national campaign, giving supporters the chance to get their friends, school, workplace and anyone else they can think of involved in a week of fundraising fun.

Patients at the National spend a lot of time in their pyjamas, as they recover from operations or undergo lengthy treatment processes. We wanted to show a bit of solidarity with them by encouraging fundraisers to wear their pyjamas whilst raising money for The National Brain Appeal.

People have already started signing up with some great ideas for fundraising events. Whether you want to organise a sleep-over, a sponsored sleep-walk, a lie-in, a cosy tea party or any other pyjama-themed event, the Brain Appeal Team are on hand to help. Get in touch with Louise and tell us what you will do!

We are also thrilled that Funzee UK are back to support the event. Watch our website, Facebook and Twitter for updates.

The Pyjama Party campaign week is 18-26 October 2014. Check out the webpage for more details and to see event photos from last year.

Are you affected by a neurological disorder?

Now is the chance to have your say. Submit your responses to the Neurological Alliance Patient Experience Survey before the 15th September and help shape services for the future.

The survey is the first of its kind for the neurological community. It aims to collect vital information about the experiences of care received by people affected by neurological conditions and help us to understand how much progress has been made in improving neurological services.

Complete the survey online here.

And finally, we need your help!

We are aiming to get to at least 100 Cares (by the end of August) on our Just Giving page. Not just because it makes us feel loved (which it does), but if we get there, we will be in with the chance to win £1000!

It only takes a couple of minutes – simply log in to your JustGiving account and click Care on our page.

Don't forget to tell your friends! If you're a social media user let people know you're helping using #100cares:

"I'm helping @Brainappeal win £1000 by reaching #100cares! Will you help too? https://www.justiving.com/nhdf"
