We've now been in our new depot at 3 Heb Place, Takanini for almost two months. We have been busy optimising the layout, and we're already starting to leverage the space for fast and accurate turnaround of clients' fabrication projects.

With our move to a new factory, better suited to custom fabrication, it seems fitting to introduce a couple of key members of the fabrication team.

Alan Butterworth is our Factory Manager and is responsible for ensuring all customer orders are processed efficiently and accurately through the factory. With a strong background in engineering and factory management, Alan is the perfect guy to have running our warehouse. 

Luke Edmonds is our Fabrication Supervisor and is responsible for overseeing all fabrication work to ensure we achieve the highest possible workmanship at all times. He loves a project too - so don't be afraid to bring something outside the square for him to fabricate.

Both men bring considerable experience to their roles and this is greatly enhancing our overall service delivery in this important part of our business. 

After an impressive tenure of 31 years at Hampden Fence our Senior Estimator Rob Eastwood has decided to try something new. Rob will be sorely missed and we wish him good luck in his future endeavours.

In February we welcomed Shea O'Hallahan into the role of Gradutate Estimator. He has quickly built up a sound knowledge of our products and is already known to many of our clients.

Shea has a great sense of humour which means he's been able to fit at Hampden just fine. He's energetic, detailed and someone that isn't fazed by a challenge, so make sure you put him through his paces.

CUSTOM ALUMINIUM FENCING, STEEL SLIDING GATES, GATE AUTOMATION

Earlier this year we helped to complete custom aluminium fencing, steel gates and gate automation for the Ilico Apartments on Bluegrey Avenue, Stonefields (Auckland).

We provided 130m of powder coated custom aluminium fencing which was all fabricated in-house at Hampden Fence. We also installed 5 powder coated aluminium self closing pedestrian access gates to seamlessly match the perimeter fencing.  Two custom fabricated 7m heavy duty steel gates were also powder coated and installed on site for vehicle access control. These gates were automated using high quality Italian made Genius sliding gate automation solutions.
