Unitec Excellence Awards
Ngā Tohu Kairangi o Wairaka

Kia ora koutou

Tukua kia tū takitahi ngā whetū o te rangi – Let each star in the sky shine its own light

After the roller coaster of a year we’ve had, we are looking forward to celebrating all the outstanding achievements and contributions of our people – so many of you have gone above and beyond in your roles, in both our teaching and support teams.

We recognise it’s a busy time with EER over the next two weeks, but we urge you to take 15 minutes to submit your nomination(s). It’s a great opportunity to recognise and celebrate those individuals and teams who have stood out to you over the past year, whether that’s during the COVID response, in the lead-up to the EER, in a special project or in their day-to-day role.

Three weeks to nominate

Take a look at the full list of the 10 teaching and support categories and their criteria on the Nest Staff Awards page.

Nominations close on Tuesday 3 November, which gives you three weeks to write your 300-word nomination. It’s an easy process and a great way to highlight the exceptional work of your colleagues across Unitec. We encourage you to take your time and provide evidence and details to help the judges to decide on the winners. You can submit as many nominations as you like.
