The event is supported by This Girl Can, the national campaign to get more women active. Your local parkrun needs your support. You can walk, jog, run, volunteer or cheer at parkrun events in Gloucestershire. Find your local park run and more about the day here. But how do you create new habits that really stick? Start by working out what you want to do differently and think about what might get in the way. There are always hundreds of reasons not to get out and about, but by understanding what these are, we can address them. This is from Diabetes UK. Diabetes can have unpredictable effects on the body, so it's hard to know what you will feel you can do. But that's what makes the small victories so important. Small things like moving more when you’re travelling to work or using the stairs instead of the lift can all make a difference.
