January and the New Year at Cove Park:
Celebrating 20 Years of our International Artists Residency ProgrammeCove Park marks its 20th anniversary in 2020 and we look forward to celebrating this milestone with a full year of residencies, events, workshops, partnerships and collaborations. In 2000 we hosted just six artists as part of a pilot programme of residencies; in 2019 we worked with over 50 artists during our summer programme of funded residencies alone, offering the vital time, space and support required to develop new work within the unique context Cove Park provides. We look forward to welcoming more national and international artists, participants, companies and visitors in 2020 and embarking upon the next 20 years of our programme. Scroll down for news of our current residency programme, a new
residential masterclass for writers, the 2020 Choreographer and Collaborator residencies for members of the Work Room, an update on the Scotland/Japan Residency Exchange programme and an introduction to a new Archive Project taking place during our 20th year. All of us at Cove Park wish you the very best for 2020. Image: Cove Park's Artists Centre, December 2019 (photography, Emma Henderson)

Cove Park 2020: Archive ProjectCove Park will host a number of special events throughout the year to celebrate its 20th anniversary. We hope, in addition to introducing new friends to our work, we can welcome back as many of our former residents as possible. Over 2000 artists have taken part in our programme to date, travelling to us from over 30 countries worldwide, and Cove Park’s growing Archive documents the artists on site, their work and events. During 2020 we will develop this Archive further and would like to ask former residents to share updates on their work, publications and their own documentation of their residencies. Please send
any relevant material to Julian Forrester or Alexia Holt. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you in 2020. Image: Craft & Design Resident Jasleen Kaur, 2015 (image, Eoin Carey)
