Hi , Well you may have noticed that last year we ran a lot of programs for schools and universities but didn’t offer many general public conservation projects. The good news is that in 2014 we’ve got more projects to run than ever and we need your help to protect Australia’s most threatened species and ecosystems! Here are some projects coming up that you can get involved in and more will be announced in the coming months. The Wild Mob |
Mackay Islands Habitat Restoration |
In March and April Wild Mob is setting of to target invasive vegetation in critically endangered littoral rainforest, and plastics on turtle nesting beaches across several islands in the Cumberland Group. We are looking for 6 volunteers to take part in each expedition If you want to be part of the mob and are up for some hard work, adventure and sailing amongst stunning islands and scenery you can find more information here on how to get involved an lodge your application.

Duke of Edinburgh Projects |
We had such great success with our Duke of Edinburgh projects in 2013 that we are continuing them and offering even more in 2014! The projects that we have on offer and their main focus are listed below... Leaders Corner | Winter is coming! |
In December this year friends of Wild Mob on Norfolk Island will be running the inaugural Norfolk Island Bird Week. Local bird expert Margaret Christian has invited Wild Mob Director Derek Ball as a guest facilitator and to share his passion for all things conservation. Norfolk is home to huge sea bird breading colonies and a plethora of endemic species making it exciting destination for any birder. You can find some more information here. |
